For July 2009 Unemployment Rate Hovers

Unemployment in July 2009 plateau’ed. Was that the beginning of the end of the great credit bomb? For me it was, I started working again, finally.

When I was laid off from Nortel, it took about a year for me to recover from the shock of being told after twenty years, you are redundant.

Unemployment numbers for May 2009 from Stats Canada, with commentary from me. Luckily I was finding a job then.

The great debt crash of 2008 caused unemployment to be quite bad even into April 2009.

EI Claims for March 2009 were up, which was not surprising given we were in the middle of the Debt Implosion starting in 2008.
