Pensions and severance discussions come together, usually when you get laid off from your employer (if you have a pension). Be careful in these discussions.
Take the Pension or Leave it? #Redux
Should you leave your money in your company pension or take it out. In my case the Pension was failing, so I took it out. Many financial planners pressure their customers to remove the money, but I would be wary of that one.
