It’s gonna rain money here in Ontario real soon! The HST is going away on important things like Twinkies, pre-mixed bloody Marys and Game Consoles! We are going to get “go spend money” cheques from both the Provincial and Federal Governments! Truly this is a magical time we are living. For those unsure, that was #sarcasm. Free money, let’s all go spend!
Interest rates may not be dropping as fast as most folks (namely realtors) want. The HST vacation might be nice on things like cars, but not likely. You also won’t get an HST vacation if your province does not have an amalgamated GST & PST set up (i.e. Alberta).

What would a world with a 25% across-the-board tariff on Canadian Goods look like? I’m not sure, but this could crash the North American economy if done correctly. Is it bluster? Maybe, but I wouldn’t count on it.
It’s been a quiet year for me, ranting. Let’s see what I can do to remedy that. I still think I am too ugly for TikTok, but I will make some videos yet.

- In terms of audiobooks, I finished The Fifties by David Halberstam. It explained to me a lot of the tribalism I have seen in the USA. It is a long one, but well worth a listen. I am now listening to Playing for Keeps: Michael Jordan and the World he Made by Mr. Halberstam, helps explain the Chicago Bulls in the 1990’s to me.
