In October 2011, we had the occupation of Wall Street. Although I am not really clear about what the goal of this was, it still sounded like an interesting idea. I believe I am part of the 99% but I am possibly part of the upper 10% so I am really part of the 9.9%? It’s an interesting arithmetic question. I think it might be nice to be in the 1%. However, then I’d want to be in the upper 10% of them. So, I really want to be part of the 0.1%?
There are other occupation ideas incubating out there, hopefully they don't want to occupy my backyard, but if they do occupy it, I hope they clean it up too.
That week on X I did dredged up some of my favorite Oldie But Goodies (OBG) as well:
- We started off discussing Tithing for Charities. This concept is complex for a lot of folks. By the by, that is 10% for you folks still wondering about that first paragraph.
- Given that it was a long weekend, wishing Canada a Happy Thanksgiving was essential.
- With optimistic labour numbers in 2011, I reminisced with the Employment Numbers from 1 Year Ago
- Should you take the Car or the Bus ?
- With I'm Sorry Sir Your Card is Being Refused I went back over the infamous credit crisis down south.
- I was saddened with the passing of Dennis Ritchie that week.
Enjoy your weekend.
