This week the occupation of Wall Street continued and although I am not really clear about what the goal of this was, it still sounds like an interesting idea. Â I believe I am part of the 99% but I am possibly part of the upper 10% so I am really part of the 9.9%? It’s an interesting arithmetic question, but I think it might be nice to be in the 1% except that then I’d want to be in the upper 10% of them so I really want to be part of the 0.1%?
There are other occupation ideas incubating out there, hopefully they don’t want to occupy my backyard, but if they do occupy it, I hope they clean it up too.
This week on Twitter I did dredge up some of my favorite Oldie But Goodies (OBG) as well:
- We started off discussing Tithing for Charities, which is hard for a lot of folks (by the by that is 10% for you folks still wondering about that first paragraph).
- Given it was a long weekend, it was important to wish Canada a Happy Thanksgiving.
- With optimistic labour numbers this year, I reminisce with the Employment Numbers from 1 Year Ago
- Should you take the Car or the Bus ?
- With I’m Sorry Sir Your Card is Being Refused I went back over the infamous credit crisis down south.
- I was saddened with the passing of Dennis Ritchie this past week.
