Dr. Randy Pausch caused a real sensation on the web a few years back with his “Last Lecture”, which I never had watched until this past week and now I get why folks think so much of it.
This is a very long video (over an hour), and it rambles here and there, but if you really listen to what he says, you can learn lots of stuff about Randy and yourself.
Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 – July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving presentation, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.
Sit down and watch this, it has nothing to do with Money, Personal Finance, Ponzi Schemes or Investing, but maybe it does? Remember there is one thing to do before you die.
I always dreamed of playing in the NFL, but sports was also a big head fake for me (and it still is).
I think I remember seeing the new Star Trek movie with the director’s commentary turned on and he pointed out Dr. Pausch on the bridge of the Kelvin.
