Advent Financial Calendar Box Day 10
Does this box have a cane in it?
No, not a candy cane, but a cane an older person might use. Retirement and RRSPs, in particular, are awesome things to take care of during Advent.
Yes, the RRSP deadline is usually in February. However, if you buy now, you avoid the rush and general “hubbub” of the February RRSP season. You also get two more months of growth on your investments.
Remember also the importance of your health for your financial plans. There is no point in having millions saved if you are going to die before you retire! Long-term disability insurance, if you are younger, is something to think about as well.
