The concept of Father’s Day, a day to celebrate our Fathers and their achievements, is a great idea.
Fathers are much like a good referee and a good coach all rolled into one. The referee is there to tell you what is right and wrong, and penalize you when you really get out of line, but the coach is there to teach you how to move forward and achieve in your life. If your Father was a great referee, you most likely didn’t even know he was doing it (just like all good officials, their goal is to not be noticed doing their job), however, the coach in your Dad is what you remember the most.
Thanks Dad, I never said it to you, but I always think it.
