Illegal Coin of the Realm?
Evidently, the whole “Canadian Quarters are spy devices” story that has been making the rounds was caused by the Poppy that the Mint put on it, for Rememberance Day. People mistrust coin money that has pretty colours, thus they make up stories, about how it is a microbot that is collecting data on you. One U.S. military contractor made the following comment about the quarter:
“It did not appear to be electronic (analog) in nature or have a power source,” wrote one U.S. contractor, who discovered the coin in the cup holder of a rental car. “Under high power microscope, it appeared to be complex consisting of several layers of clear, but different material, with a wire like mesh suspended on top.”
Uh huh, didn’t you know that Pennies have been stealing your soul for years? If you aren’t wearing your aluminum foil hat (from Alcan, before Alcoa buys them out), you are in trouble!
We Canadians are much more crafty than you might think, I am in fact reading your thoughts through this blog!
The Canadian Dollar is on an 11 month high too, guess it’s time to take my valuable quarters down to the States and infiltrate a few more top secret installations (what font do you use for sarcasm, or silliness?).
As a follow up to yesterday’s Lu Lu Lemon posting, does anybody know when the IPO will be happening?
What’s this, they are going to do a Sequel to Wall Street ? There you go, Greed is Good, and in Hollywood, it is as good as gold.
Hey Cajun,
Great minds think alike.
I blogged about this as well.
It’s unbelieve, the amount of American paranoia. Canadians have no idea. This really demonstrates how much the U.S. government worries about things.
I would hate to have that much paranoia.
See my post.
